The business concept of SHT-Smart High Tech AB is to sell next generation electronics packaging materials and processes based on achievements in nanotechnology.
SHT has been working on materials formulation and processes with nanobased technology for electronics application. Several new packaging materials and processes have been developed such as nano-thermal interface materials, nano-filled bimodal thermal conductive adhesives and as well as carbon nanotube interconnects.

About Smartherm
The objective of SMARTHERM project is to build up a pilot production line for high-performance thermal interface materials (TIMs) based on functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs). We are aiming to demonstrate the pilot production of the vertically aligned CNT based TIMs with high through-put at industrial scale to meet the requirement on thermal management for future high-packaging-density microsystems.
